The Ride for Kids ® program supports the efforts of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF) to find the cause of and cure for childhood brain tumors. Come join hundreds of your motorcyclist friends at the Los Angeles Ride for Kids® to make a difference in children's lives! When you ride with us side by side in that endless column of bikes, people waving at you at every turn, you'll know you're making a positive statement for our sport at the same time.

FUNDRAISING

Moooo Fundraising for the Los Angeles Ride for Kids® can be done any time of the year. The earlier you start, the more opportunities you will have to promote your fundraising. Here are some
fun ideas.

Firstgiving Fundraising Page
An even easier way to raise money is to set up a personal fundraising page to collect donations online.You can ask friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers around the world to support your efforts with a personal fundraising page. It’s easy to get started! Don't forget to print out a copy of all the donations on your Firstgiving page the morning of the ride to get credit for late donations at registration.

Go to Firstgiving.com/pbtfus
Click “Get Started”
Find the Los Angeles Ride for Kids event. Select it.
Sign in with email address and password if you’ve had a firstgiving page before.
Join or add a team, if applicaple.
Create a new page. Choose a web address. If you want to continue to use the same firstgiving website you’ve used in the past (recommended) you will see it listed under expired pages.

Facebook Causes
You can reach all your Facebook friends by creating a fundraising page through the Causes application. Create your own personal message and friends will be able to donate online through Network for Good in just a few clicks. Donations made through Facebook will be sent to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF) on the 15th of each month. The PBTF will then send you a ride receipt. Bring those to the ride with you for credit toward premiums. Donations for which you do not receive a ride receipt will be credited toward premiums at the next year's ride. Matching Gifts
Be sure to check with your employer. Many companies will match their
employees' giving. If you work for American Honda, the Special Health Matching Gift Program form is available on the Honda Employee Riders Club website.

Host a Fundraising Event
Do you have a special talent or a hobby you'd like to share? You can organize a walk, a run, a golf tournament, a chili cook-off, a bowling competition, a neighborhood garage sale, or any other fun idea you might have. Ask your friends, neighbors, family and co-workers to join you and raise money to fight children's brain tumors.

We've made it easy: Just fill in the Online Fundraising Application or Download the PDF and return to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF) for their approval. Please be sure to get the PBTF's approval first before beginning your fundraising. If you prefer, you can call them at 800-253-6530 to discuss your ideas. Then get started, have fun and help sick children!

Donations throughout the Year
When you receive a donation, send it to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at 302 Ridgefield Ct., Asheville, NC 28806 as soon as possible. Include a note with your name and address and tell them you would like a ride receipt going toward the Los Angeles Ride for Kids. Keep your ride receipts in a safe place and remember to bring them with you to the ride for registration!
